Walking tour of the Val d’Anniviers

Explore the Val d’Anniviers on foot with our tailored tour (minimum stay 4 nights). Take the time to get a feel for the place, walking at your own pace through open countryside and the little villages that are typical of the valley.

Our package includes

  • 4 to 10 nights in a double room at a hotel/hut in Sierre/ Salgesch/ St-Luc/ Zinal/ Grimentz/ Vercorin
  • Full board (half board with picnic lunch)
  • Transport of one piece of luggage per person between each hotel/hut
  • 2 journeys per person on post buses
  • 1 walking map and other travel documents

Each tour can be tailored to your requirements

The standard loop takes you from Sierre to Vercorin, via Chandolin, St-Luc, Zinal and Grimentz. Spend each night in a different place, walk at your own pace, picnic where you want and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of the central Valais.

Each day’s walk lasts about 5 hours.

Take your time

If you want to involve yourself in local life, try spending several nights in the same village. Take part in an event or activity.

You will also be given an “Anniviers Liberté” pass, entitling you to free use of lift systems (see this page for details of opening) and public transport, plus free admission to more than 20 activities.
