Sierre-Anniviers Marketing

The marketing office for the Val d'Anniviers, Vercorin and the Sierre-Salgesch area.

In 2001, Sierre and the Val d'Anniviers, with the villages of Vercorin, Grimentz, Zinal, St-Luc, Chandolin, Vissoie, St-Jean, Ayer and several others in the valley, decided to work together for the purposes of marketing.

We are a small 5-person organisation, working to promote a region with about 20,000 inhabitants that includes both the Rhône plain and the mountains.

Each town or village has its own tourist office to welcome visitors and provide them with information, and provide local co-ordination. Anniviers Tourisme, based at Vissoie, is the umbrella organisation for the tourist offices in the Anniviers area. It deals with staffing matters and co-ordinates events in the valley.

We’re here to make you want to come to us!

Our office in the Foyer of the Techno-pôle is open:
from Monday to Friday
08.00 - 12.00 and 13.30 - 17.30.

The wine lover community

Initiated by the Tourist Office for Sierre, Salgesch and the surrounding area, working together with Sierre-Anniviers Marketing, Vinum Montis is a simple, original and innovative approach aimed at wine enthusiasts.

Did you know?

The name “Anniviers” may derive from the seasonal migration of local inhabitants between the mountains and the lowland plains.

Etymologically, it could come from the local phrase for “a year on the tracks” or “the tracks of the year”.
